Bio
JUDD LEAR SILVERMAN (playwright) is a Berrilla Kerr Foundation grant recipient and has been published by ArtAge, Samuel French, the Journal of the Pirandello Society of America, and most recently in Applause Theatre Books’ Best American Short Plays 2018-2019, the Arts Centers of Bonita Springs’ Stage It! 6, and Fresh Words’ HELLO, GODOT! Vol 2, among others. His plays can also be found on the New Play Exchange (NPX). Recent productions of his work have been seen at the KNOW Theatre in Binghamton, NY (THE SPOT, voted the Edward Allen Baker Best Play Award November 2021) and the Rising Sun Performance Company production of REPORT BACK TO SPACE, part of their NYC Summer 21 Parks Tour. Upcoming productions include PIPER IN THE WOODS, a podcast adaptation of Philip K. Dick’s short story with JakespeareVTC, WHEN YOU CAN GET THE MILK FOR FREE in Brooklyn’s Gallery Players’ Black Box Festival February 2023, and PROUD, a full-length presented by Rising Sun Performance Company in New York at the 14th Street Y Theatre in rotating rep in February 2023.
